Dear parents and guardians,
This week there will be State Testing for all students in the 3rd through 8th grades.
How can you help prepare your student for success? Please make sure they go to bed on-time, limit screen time, and arrive to school in time for breakfast each morning.
Our staff has prepared high-protein snacks in addition to the freshly cooked breakfast and lunches offered each day. Making sure our students are well fueled is important to their success.
As an extra incentive we are offering an ice-cream party this Friday for ALL students who choose to eat breakfast at school each day this week.

Bring your dancing shoes to school today! The Hawaiian dance is from 4:00-6:00, and DES families are invited! Some concessions will be available. Students must be signed into SAFE to participate. This is the last dance of the school year; don't miss out!
This year's Egg Drop was fantastic with tables of prizes for the kiddos, the raffle drawing for the families who participated in the parent feedback survey, and, of course, the talented creations by your students! Videos will be in the comment section on the Facebook post.
School picture day is tomorrow, Tuesday, 4/22/25.
Order forms were sent home today. They have also been attached via email, on the Facebook page, on the website, and there is also a QR code available.
