Today is the start of X Days.
What is Siskiyou X Days?
Siskiyou X Days is a ten-day county-wide arts and culture event in Siskiyou County, California, designed to showcase the region’s rich artistic talent, and community-based creative expressions.
During the event, artists open their studios and cultural spaces across the county to engage visitors, share their work, and build connections between people, places, and creative practices.
By weaving together remote and unrecognized locales, the event aims to strengthen the local arts ecosystem and attract art-tourism into less-traveled corners of the county.
Explore the routes of X Days through this Guidebook.
We, at Dunsmuir Elementary, are ready to celebrate our local artist and share the artistic talent of our students. Feel free to explore local artists during these 10 days of deserved recognition!

Let's get ready for the volleyball tournament!
The tournament starts this Saturday, October 25th, located at McCloud High school. Dunsmuir's first game starts at 11:45am. The volleyball A Team kiddos are expected to be present and ready to hit the road at 11:00 am.
There will be a concession stand available for the students.
Following the roster provided, if Dunsmuir loses the first game their following game will take place at 1:30pm, and if they win the next game is set for 3:30pm.
Let's give our team a strong send off for the tournament. Let's go wildcats!
I am including the link to sign uo here. Be realistic about your childs ability level. If they are beginners and haven't been on a lift the will NOT need an all mountain pass. If your child participanted last year I have the card for them. Looking forward to an amazing season!
