If you would like to sign-up as a chaperone I have the link below. I will be at the the school to help on Mon 10/27 after Deputy DARE (remember it's red ribbon week next week!) around 1/1:30. Also, after the pumkin patch around the same time if you require any help.

It's that time again. sign-ups for the program go through December 5th. If you try to sign up after that there is nothing that can be done. This program is for all students who turn 5 before 1/01/2026 funded through Dunsmuir Elementary (equipment including helmets and transportation). We will have clothing on a first come first serve basis. The dates we have are 1/26, 2/23, and 3/6/2026. When signing up we had to cancel 3/23; we may have more dates that will be released in December. My name is Jas, I will be the coordinator with MichaelSanchez. We are now accepting donations for our Christmas Store that will be opening December 16th - 18th. Please come by the school to drop off any nice, lightly used items you think our students would enjoy, or love to have. We are looking forward to seeing you!

What a great volleyball season! The tournament is this weekend in McCloud. The coach will post the bracket tomorrow. Well done, Wildcats!

The Sunflower Pumpkin Patch field trip that was originally schedule for this Friday, the 10th of October, has now been rescheduled for Wednesday the 29th of October. We are expected to be arriving at the Pumpkin Patch around 10am and return around 1pm.

Hello Everyone!

On Saturday, October 25th, from 8am - 2pm the City of Dunsmuir is hosting a FREE green waste day. This is all being done in order to help mitigate wildfires and their potential threats to homes, so by disposing or your green waste you will also be supporting our local firefighters. For more information regarding this event, please refer to the attached flier.

Hello all! There is fresh produce from our very own Dunsmuir Elementary School garden located in our staff lounge up for grabs. Bring some bags and take what you want. The goal is to give it all away today, so please, come in and explore what we have!

Please note this Thursday's volleyball home game has B team playing first. As always our games are free to enter and we have an amazing concession stand!

Have you been in the office recently? This new "Free DES Market" of sorts has been set up for our students and families. Dunsmuir-grown produce, pantry staple items, and treats too! Students and families are encouraged to take what they can use. 🐾😋

Reminder, no school tomorrow or Monday: 8/29/25 and 9/1/25. Four day weekend. Wildcats are due back on campus next Tuesday, 9/2/25.🐾

Big thanks to Dunsmuir High School! DES students are expected back on campus today. DHS stepped up to bus our students to school even when their own school doesn't begin until Wednesday! Love the partnership! Attached is this year's route and schedule.

Tomorrow is the first day of the school year! Seeing old friends, making friend with our new students, exploring how the campus will look this year. We can't wait to see all our wildcats in the morning. Breakfast is at 7:30, recess at 8:00, class begins at 8:15. Do you plan on riding the bus?
