Hi Wildcat families! I wanted to let the 3rd–8th grade parents know that there is an informational meeting on Friday, August 30th at 11:45am in Mrs. Shirley's classroom about running for Student Council this year. She will be there to answer any questions the students may have. We wanted to give a heads up to the parents in case they wanted to have conversations at home about running. It will be a wonderful introduction to student government and civic involvement. If your student choses to be a part of the election they will be sent home with a poster to decorate that would need to be brought back to the school on Tuesday, September 3rd stating what they are running for. Go Wildcats!

Hi there Wildcat families! I hope it has been a great year so far. My name is Jas Wilkinson and I would like to introduce myself as the Parent Liaison for our Community School Program that began last fall. I have already met many of you and am looking forward to meeting many more families in the new school year. One goal we have is make sure everyone knows about all of the activities, opportunities and special events at our school. In addition, seeking activities outside of school such as sign-ups for various sports programs, theatre groups, music teachers (looking hard for those) and other enriching extracurricular activities. Please reach out to me at jwilkinson@dunsmuir.k12.ca.us if you would like more info or to share ideas. I really appreciate your time!

Join us tomorrow morning for a Rotary sponsored pancake breakfast in the Dunsmuir Elementary cafeteria! Breakfast will be served at 7:30. Families welcome!

Attached is the updated calendar for the 2024/25 school year.
